Glenn Close’s Apartment Off the Market

Is Glenn Close staying at the Beresford after all? The web listing for her two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath at the posh co-op — Jerry Seinfeld’s a neighbor — has disappeared from Corcoran’s website, just four months after she put it on the market for $11.8 million. (The price was subsequently cut to $10.8 million.) According to Streeteasy.com, the apartment was “no longer available” as of May 11, though a source says it’s only marked as “temporarily off the market” on internal databases brokers use to access properties. So perhaps it’ll make a comeback?

Political commentator and radio talk-show host Alan Colmes, on the other hand, has found a buyer for his triplex penthouse at the storied Silk Building (former home to Britney Spears). It’s in contract after three price reductions (final asking: $1.799 million), though it’s unclear how much it finally fetched.
