At first this video of President Obama walking through some kind of workshop in Buffalo looks like it’s going to be the latest edition of him feigning interest in mundane things. But then we find out that this is not a mundane thing at all. It’s a hovercraft! And if that’s not awesome enough, Obama awkwardly strong-arms Times political reporter Sheryl Gay Stolberg into riding the thing. And dammit, it works (barely). Maybe Back to the Future 2 wasn’t so far off after all.
