American Citizen Sentenced to Fifteen Years for Aiding Al Qaeda

Syed “Fahad” Hashmi, who admitted to sending “waterproof socks, ponchos and sleeping bags to al Qaeda insurgents in Afghanistan” in 2006, was sentenced to fifteen years in jail yesterday in Manhattan federal court. [NYP]
