All morning the Drudge Report has been blaring a siren about a Star story regarding a GORE AFFAIR, which sort of made it seem inevitable that whatever tale came out would be a letdown. Not so! According to the celebrity weekly, Al Gore was having a two-year affair with Laurie David, the environmental-activist ex-wife of Curb Your Enthusiasm star and Seinfeld co-creator Larry David. The ex–Mrs. David split with Larry in 2007 amid reports she was having an affair with the gardener of their Martha’s Vineyard summer home. She had then just finished being a producer of Gore’s film, An Inconvenient Truth. “Al and Laurie went from friends to lovers,” a source told Star. “It couldn’t be avoided.” Man, that lady really is one lover of nature.
