Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has subpoenaed fake nun Mindy “Sister Milindia” LeGrand, who the Post reports has been panhandling in Little Italy for over a decade, asking for donations for a made-up orphanage and handing off the money to a criminal organization in Crown Heights founded by a convicted rapist and serial killer. Investigators are now seeking testimony from LeGrand and others involved in this long-running scheme. She was arrested back in ‘97 for the very same thing, but police were unable to lock her up.
