Over the weekend, 21-year-old Nasheen Prioleau was standing on a street corner in Boerum Hill when an acquaintance got out of his car and hugged him. Instead of reacting with joy, as many people do when surprised by hugs, Prioleau and a friend savagely attacked the man, chasing him down the street and slashing him in the neck with a box cutter before fleeing the scene. The victim was okay in the end, and Prioleau was arrested the next day — in a hospital bed, where he was recovering from a later unrelated incident during which he got shot. [NYPD Blotter/NYP]
