Rahm Emanuel is no doubt searching Craigslist during downtime at work this week, as he will not be able to return to his home when he moves back to Chicago. The chief of staff, set to step down any day now and return to the Windy City, has tried to convince the couple leasing his home on Chicago’s North Side to move out so that he can move back in, according to his spokesman and friend Rick Jasculca. The renters, who cannily extended their lease until 2011 just days before Chicago mayor Richard Daley said he wouldn’t be running for another term, have declined Emanuel’s request. [AP]
