After directly pitting their rally against Glenn Beck’s and claiming that their “satellite photos” would compare favorably to the Fox News host’s “Restoring Honor” rally, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that most of the post-game reporting after Saturday’s “One Nation Working Together” rally in D.C.— organized by about 400 liberal organizations — is related to crowd size. And based on most reports, the turnout was not nearly as high as Beck’s generated.
The Washington Post’s reporting puts Saturday’s crowd at less than half the size of Beck’s.
Meanwhile, the AP used some informal observational analysis to make its conclusion:
The lesson here seems to be that Jon Stewart should probably just refrain from making any predictions about crowd size.
