President Obama could use a pick-me-up. “It feels bad,” he told reporters yesterday about the “shellacking” his party and, on some level, his agenda received at the polls on Tuesday. America is just not a very welcoming place for him right now. But you know where it is welcoming? India, where Obama is headed for a three-day visit starting Saturday. From the looks of things, Obama will return not with the confidence of someone who just suffered the worst electoral losses in 70 years, but of someone who is universally beloved and appreciated.
