Name: The Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger (Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl)
Age: 35 and 23
Neighborhood: Downtown Manhattan
Occupation: Musicians. Their debut album, Acoustic Sessions, was just released on their own label, Chimera Music.

Who’s your favorite New Yorker, living or dead, real or fictional?
Woody Allen!

What’s the best meal you’ve eaten in New York?
Our roommate Yuka cooks for us sometimes, we all help with the chopping and the washing, and the food tastes so good after you and your friends have slaved over it. Normally a whole baked fish with lots of vegetables from the farmers’ market.

In one sentence, what do you actually do all day in your job?
Draw, write songs, bicker, laugh, meet with other entrepreneurs, shoot videos, debate, stay up all night

What was your first job in New York?
For Sean: bass player in a band called Cibo Matto. For Charlotte: model.

What’s the last thing you saw on Broadway?
Carrie Fisher’s one-woman parody on her own life. Brilliant.

Do you give money to panhandlers?
Usually, unless they reek of booze and have a syringe in their eye. Tried giving some food to one once, but he got all picky and exclaimed “I’m macrobiotic!” Sheesh.

What’s your drink?
Scotch. Peaty, stinky scotch.

How often do you prepare your own meals?
We mostly just graze all day on whatever junk is laying around.

What’s your favorite medication?
Cigarettes.

What’s hanging above your sofa?
An original Robert Crumb poster.

How much is too much to spend on a haircut?
Charlotte is the in-house hair-cutter around here. We’re all too lazy to go to the barbers.

When’s bedtime?
7 a.m. We’re vampires.

Which do you prefer, the old Times Square or the new Times Square?
Neither. Times Square is what we imagine Dante’s Inferno was really about.

What do you think of Donald Trump?
That maybe he should have Charlotte cut his hair instead.

What do you hate most about living in New York?
The cold, steely grip of the social scene, the cancerous cell phones, the lack of stars in the evening sky.

Who is your mortal enemy?
Monsanto, and the corn industry.

When’s the last time you drove a car?
A month ago, upstate. We love road trips.

How has the Wall Street crash affected you?
It’s been quite impactful on us, having just started a record label. No one wants to buy music anyway. We’re feeling a bit like fishmongers in a flood.

Times, Post, or Daily News?
The New York Times and a cappuccino really is our daily meditation.

Where do you go to be alone?
We’ll hide out in our closet, with the cloistered piano.

What makes someone a New Yorker?
New York is kind of like L.A., in the sense most people come here chasing a dream, but people here are more existentially challenged and don’t get a tan.
