Rest of Supreme Court Probably Bewildered by Scalia and Kagan’s Electronic Reading Rectangles

Justice Stephen Breyer may not understand the concepts behind Facebook, and Chief Justice John Roberts may have some trouble differentiating between an e-mail and a text message, but not everyone on the Supreme Court acts like your grandmother around technology. Last month Justice Antonin Scalia revealed that he uses an iPad to read briefs, and now Justice Elena Kagan tells C-Span that she uses a Kindle for the same purpose. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, meanwhile, reads her briefs through a giant magnifying glass by candlelight.
