The puppy had run out onto thin ice in Sayville. Sarah Thalhammer chased after it and fell through. Rescue worker Matthew DeMatteo then fell through when he went to rescue Thalhammer. Both eventually made it out of the freezing water safely. Ace Ventura never even got wet. [NYP]
