Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner does not like Republican Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty. This should come as no surprise, as the two are on opposite sides of the aisle on virtually every political issue. But! Anthony Weiner also thinks Tim Pawlenty is dumb. Really dumb. Monday night, Weiner appeared on MSNBC’s Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell. to discuss U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson’s ruling that the federal health-care bill was unconstitutional. O’Donnell read a quote from Pawlenty that said, “I was proud to join this federal lawsuit challenging Obamacare’s individual mandate and am optimistic that higher courts will uphold the ruling.”
Weiner was not happy about that, pointed to his coffee cup and quipped, “This mug knows more about politics health care reform than Pawlenty knows.” Perhaps, perhaps.
