Disgraced Enron president Jeffrey Skilling’s 20-year-old son, John Taylor Skilling, was found dead on Tuesday evening. Skilling was a student at Chapman College in Southern California, who may have killed himself over a recent breakup. Police have yet to label Skilling’s death a suicide: An autopsy revealed no signs of foul play, and police are waiting for the results of toxicology tests, which may take up to six weeks to process. Skilling was found with several bottles of prescription drugs next to his body. Father Jeffrey Skilling — who is currently serving 24 years in prison for fraud and insider trading — is said to be “distraught, devastated, heartbroken.” Jeffrey Skilling’s lawyer has appealed to prison officials to allow his client to attend his son’s funeral.
