Nine sixth-grade boys were suspended from a Tacoma, Washington, middle school today after it was discovered that almost two dozen boys were involved in an organized “fight club” — like the Chuck Palahniuk novel and the Brad Pitt/Ed Norton movie. The club was held in one of the Stewart Middle School’s lavatories, and was only discovered after one of the students shared a cell-phone video of a fight with a local news station. So, yes, the school was unaware of the club until they watched the news broadcast.
