According to the latest poll numbers from the Times, Americans are “more pessimistic about the nation’s economic outlook and overall direction than they have been at any time since President Obama’s first two months in office,” which, you may recall, took place when the country was still deep in the recession. The number of Americans who feel like the economy is getting worse rose 13 percent since just last month. And while Americans give Obama poor marks for his handling of the economy, they also don’t approve of the congressional GOP or believe that it shares their priorities. Someone is being a sourpuss!
