According to a new Siena poll, 58 percent of New York’s registered voters support gay marriage a new high for the poll compared to only 36 percent who are opposed. Not surprising, the demographic groups who back gay marriage the most are people under 35, people who make over $100,000 a year, and self-described liberals. But even Republicans and the Olds (55-plus) are about evenly split on the issue. [Siena (PDF)]
