Was TV Journalist FBI Informant? [Updated]

ABC News journalist Christopher Isham allegedly leaked information and the name of an off-the-record source to the FBI in the aftermath of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombings, according to Gawker, which cites “multiple knowledgeable sources.” The information turned out to be false, and the source was a former CIA agent who later contacted the FBI about it himself. But, you know, nobody likes a snitch. [Gawker]

Update: Isham has called the allegations “outrageous and untrue,” according to Politico’s Mike Allen, who says that “like any journo,” he “checked info w/FBI to confirm.”
