Lindsay Lohan turned herself over to authorities this morning to begin her 35-day house arrest for stealing a necklace. What, you’ve never been confined to the lap of luxury? All the alleged repeat offenders are doing it. Technically, Lohan is in the custody of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office but will be serving out her sentence at a $7,100-a-month Venice beach rental. A spokesman for the sheriff’s office said: “Miss Lohan came over for a booking this morning around 5 a.m. where it was determined that she was eligible for her ankle monitor.” Under the terms of the confinement, Lohan must stay in her house 24/7 but will not undergo any blood or alcohol testing and can have as many visitors as she likes. Don’t get any ideas, Mr. Rabbit.
