Some people who will get to see Osama bin Laden’s death photos: members of the Senate Armed Services Committee, the Senate Intelligence Committee, and those in the equivalent House committees. The viewings will take place at CIA headquarters at an undisclosed time. Last Wednesday, President Obama opted not to release the photos publicly. “It is not in our national security interest … to allow these images to become icons to rally opinion against the United States,” said White House spokesman Jay Carney. “We have no need to publish those photographs to establish that Osama bin Laden was killed.”
