This summer’s Palin family vacation seems to be little more than a test run for a 2012 presidential campaign, as our own John Heilemann points out on Hardball today. Sarah Palin’s recent visit to New Hampshire just happened to coincide with Mitt Romney’s speech announcing his candidacy last week, and she criticized his health-care plan along the way. “She may not be the kingmaker, but by dissing candidates, she can hurt people in a variety of ways going forward,” Heilemann says. Basically, even if she doesn’t run, she could dis candidates into oblivion.
