A group of activists — angry that Dr. Bachmann referred to gay people as “barbarians” — styled themselves in the manner of (rather delightfully campy) barbarians, then proceeded to sprinkle shiny confetti all over his clinic. Previous glitter-bomb “victims” include Newt Gingrich and Tim Pawlenty. This might not be the stateliest form of civil rights protest in recorded history, but it’s probably the shiniest and most difficult to vacuum up.
