The candidates may have paused their campaigns in observance of 9/11 but, with less than 48 hours to go until the special election for Anthony Weiner’s congressional seat, the pollsters worked through Sunday. (And so did anonymous tipsters.) As with Friday’s Siena College poll, new numbers from Public Policy Polling have Republican Bob Turner ahead of Democrat David Weprin (47 percent to 41 percent, respectively.) Honestly, we’re a little surprised by NY-9 voters’ apparent indifference to Weprin’s dancing skills. [Politico]
