Denroy Morgan, whom you might remember if you were really into reggae in the eighties, was pulled over for speeding in the Bronx yesterday afternoon. There was a certain sweet smell emanating from his trunk, and police say he “indicated” that, yes, there was indeed marijuana inside. They found 25 pounds there; following various trails led them to a stash house with a whole lot more weed. I mean, really. This is so very on the nose! [City Room/NYT]
