Staten Island Has Too Many Mobsters, Says Staten Island Mobster

Frank “Frankie Steel” Pontillo whined at his sentencing that it’s not his fault he’s surrounded by thugs. “I didn’t invite the Five Families to gather at the opening of a bar,” he insisted. “Staten Island is very small. There’s lots of felons on the island.” The judge sympathized somewhat, but gave the 370-pound son of a mob-man six months of house arrest anyway, keeping Pontillo securely on Staten Island. [NYDN]
