The FTC Is Not Impressed by the Buttocks of Reebok Customers

They’ve announced that the company has agreed to a settlement of $25 million, payable to customers who bought its RunTone and EasyTone shoes, which Reebok advertised for their ability to tone and shape posteriors. Reebok isn’t ready to back down on its backside claims, though: “Settling does not mean we agreed with the FTC’s allegation; we do not.” We can only imagine what sort of evidence might have been submitted at trial.
