The problem — well, one of the problems — with being deposed as head of state is that you’re also ousted as head of state TV. Muammar Qaddafi hasn’t stopped talking since he went into hiding last month, but few in Libya can still hear him. He made two speeches on Thursday urging his supporters to keep fighting, but about the only place it was broadcast was Syria, where similarly embattled despot Bashar al-Assad has allowed satellite TV station Al Rai to let Qaddafi and his sons say whatever they like.
