Today, Queen Elizabeth of England approved a change to British law that will allow sons and daughters equal right to the throne. So if, say, Prince William and Kate Middleton have a first-born daughter, she’d be able to become queen, even if a little brother came along. The rule-change also struck down a law on the books since 1701 banning monarchs from marrying Catholics, so … all I’m saying is, my name rhymes nicely with the word queen. [CNN]
