DSK Allegedly Tied to French Prostitution Ring

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, who last week beat his second rape investigation of the year, just cannot completely outrun questions about his (very active) sex life. A new report in the French newspaper Journal du Dimanche alleges that the former IMF head had help picking prostitutes from a high-ranking French police officer, Jean-Christophe Lagarde, who would arrange cash-oriented trysts for the lothario around the world, including in New York City. Strauss-Kahn’s name was supposedly found in the prostitution ring’s “black book” of clients, but there’s no sign that he was the type to request underage girls.

Before Strauss-Kahn’s Year of Rape, his planned campaign for president of France would have likely made Lagarde his personal bodyguard.

Five men have been arrested in connection with the ring, while officials said Strauss-Kahn played a “largely secondary role” in the investigation. The 62-year-old’s lawyer said DSK would prefer to speak with investigators to “end dangerous and malicious insinuations and extrapolation,” and he very may well be questioned. At this point, he’s a pro at it.
