Mean old Bill O’Reilly appeared on the Late Show on Thursday night. After a bit of prodding, the conservative pundit admitted that, in retrospect, his initial support for the war in Iraq was somewhat misguided. Letterman thought the admission monumental enough to warrant a high-five — a suggestion Bill seemed to find slightly inappropriate. (That’s how he played it, at least.) Of course, he eventually gave in to the request, because even Bill O’Reilly knows that only the worst kind of jerk is willing to leave a guy hangin’ on national television. (Or anywhere, really.)
