RINO Chris Christie Criticizes Anti-Gay New Jersey Teacher

One of the many reasons Chris Christie wouldn’t have made it through a GOP presidential primary: He’s just not sufficiently afraid of gays. Asked about Viki Knox, the public school teacher under investigation by her school district for writing anti-gay messages on her Facebook page, Christie came down firmly on the “tolerance” side of the “tolerance vs. free speech” debate:

I think that kind of example is not a positive one at all to be setting for folks who have such an important and influential position in our society,” Christie said this morning on 770 WABC Radio. “I’m really concerned about those kinds of statements being made.” Christie said he finds the comments “disturbing.”

Knox, meanwhile, sat for her first interview since the controversy began. When we say she sat for an interview, that’s literally all she did — she sat there, silently, while her husband defended her.
