The 39th annual Village Halloween Parade included some hard-luck figures this year: “Unemployed Man,” “Zilch,” and “Master of Degrees.” The costumed 99 percent were part of an “Occupy Halloween” group that joined the more traditionally dressed but also possibly unemployed zombie and sexy cat crowd for the parade up Sixth Avenue.
