The NYPD’s hate crime unit is investigating an incident at 70 Ross Street in Williamsburg where swastikas were etched onto the metal inside a building’s elevator. This is just the latest in a series of recent anti-Semitic crimes in Brooklyn.
Earlier this month, vandals torched cars and painted swastikas on benches in Midwood; less than a week later, a sign at Avenue J station, also in Midwood, was altered to read “Avenue Jew.”
