The president and daughters Sasha and Malia bought a few books, including Diary of a Wimpy Kid Cabin Fever by Jeff Kinney, and The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick. Barely — just barely — Obama passed up a great deal on Core of Conviction, an autobiography by Michele Bachmann.
