Each day, millions of American children tune into MSNBC’s Morning Joe as they get ready for school. Scarfing down their Chocolate Puffy O’s, they listen intently as Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, and Willie Geist discuss the issues of the day. But none of the show’s regulars commands as much of their respect and attention as political shaman Chuck Todd. They idolize him for his sage insights, for his measured analysis, and, of course, for his resplendent goatee. He is, by all accounts, a role model for kids everywhere. Until this morning, that is, when he gave someone the finger on live television. The children may never recover.
