The NYPD have arrested alleged cop-killer Lamont Pride, along with four other suspects, in the shooting death of Officer Peter Figoski, who was killed early Monday while responding to a home invasion in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. Police had been interviewing two victims at the scene of the crime, not knowing that the burglars were still hiding inside the apartment. As the criminals fled, Figoski was shot in the face at close range, in what Mayor Bloomberg called a “horrible, depraved, criminal attack.” Figoski, a 22-year NYPD veteran who was involved in the arrest of Zodiac killer, was a single father raising four daughters. He was 47. “Because of Officer Figoski, New York is the safest big city,” Bloomberg said.
“Remote working for a short period of time, fine, but that’s not how the entrepreneurial economy works… Say to your workforce, ‘By Labor Day, everyone is back in the office.’”
