Mayor Bloomberg Is Not Down With the Obama Administration’s Plan B Flip-Flop

New York’s science-loving mayor had this to say on Kathleen Sebelius’s decision to not allow over-the-counter Plan B sales: The FDA’s recommendation (that the emergency contraceptive should be readily available) “was based not on politics — it was based on real scientific research,” reports the Times. “It would be much better if the young girls didn’t get pregnant, but once that happens I think that this should be available to anybody.”
