Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the former International Monetary Fund chief, owes more than $16,000 in property taxes, including $1,600 in penalties, on the Washington, D.C., townhouse he owns with his wife, Anne Sinclair, the New York Post reports today. The couple bought the place in 2007, but has been trying to sell it since last October, and has dropped their asking price from $5.2 million to $4.7 million. The property taxes have been overdue since early 2011. DSK was held last week by French police for questions about a prostitution ring and was, of course, accused in New York City of sexual assault last year. Sinclair, who also edits Le Huffington Post, appears to have her hands full and could probably stand to drop the man along with the house.
