Like all Republican politicians, Newt Gingrich can’t play a song at his rallies without pissing off the liberal musicians who wrote them or the companies that own them. Just this week, Gingrich was sued by Rude Music Inc. for using “Eye of the Tiger” at his campaign events for years without permission. And last night, Survivor front man Dave Bickler took a more personal form of revenge by singing the words to one of Gingrich’s books — to the tune of “Eye of the Tiger” — on the Colbert Report. It was humorous.
