The NYPD has arrested Ryan Beauchamp, a homeless 33-year-old who cops believe started the fight that left Joshua Basin dead on Friday night. Beauchamp was allegedly drunk and harassing passengers on the L train around 10 p.m. Friday night when he punched Basin, a 20-year-old student, and the two fell on the tracks. Beauchamp got away, but Basin was struck by the oncoming train and died shortly after. Cops matched video of Beauchamp leaving the station on Friday night to a mug shot taken of him after he was arrested at an October 8 OWS protest.
