It’s been just over nine weeks since Gabby Giffords resigned her congressional seat to focus more fully on her slow recovery, but her decision to keep nearly $1 million in campaign funds has supporters talking about (and hoping for) a Giffords candidacy as early as this fall. A run looks pretty unlikely, but if nothing else, the money ensures Gabby Giffords place in Arizona state politics.
