According to the Daily News, the woman who played Manhattan’s unofficial mascot (for some people, anyway) is in the process of purchasing a 7,000-square-foot home in Brooklyn Heights, just down the street from Norah Jones, Gabriel Byrne, and Truman Capote’s old place.
