From West Virginian businessman John Raese, the 2010 (and 2012) GOP senate candidate who once proposed putting “1,000 laser systems … in the sky,” comes another brilliant thought that he should have just whispered to his dog instead of announced to an audience of people:
“In Monongalia County now, I have to put a huge sticker on my buildings to say this is a smoke free environment. This is brought to you by the government of Monongalia County. Ok?”
“Remember Hitler used to put Star of David on everybody’s lapel, remember that? Same thing.”
Why? Just because they’re both examples of the government putting things on other things? What about a shuttle on a jumbo jet?
