While companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon have applied for predictable suffixes like .app, .bing, and .book — with each application running them $185,000 — the full list includes more creative ones like .baby, .ketchup, and .sex, the latter of which somehow only piqued the interest of two applicants. The web will never be the same.
