More evidence that accusations of GOP sexism are totally bogus: Politico reports that the “war on women” controversy has created opportunities for House and Senate members who would like to be the party’s token woman. Seven women have been asked to give the GOP’s weekly address this year, and they can expect a much more high-profile speaking slot at the convention. Plus, Ann Romney says that, despite previous reports, Sarah Palin hasn’t soured her husband against considering a female running mate.
