Last week, Mitt Romney made a personal inspection of some drought-devastated corn in Iowa. Today was President Obama’s turn. This demonstration of concern and hands-on management was particularly important for Obama considering that, according to Speaker of the House John Boehner, the drought is his fault. “The president continues to blame anyone and everyone for the drought but himself,” Boehner said today.
“We have 90 percent of the bill agreed to and written. We just have some of the last decisions to be made.”
