New York police say they will arrest David Villalobos for trespassing on the Bronx Zoo’s tiger den on Friday. The incident, which resulted in the loss of the 25-year-old’s foot, may have been a suicide attempt, though Villalobos’s motives are still mostly unclear — even after an interview with police: According to the New York Post, he told the cops he wanted to be “one with the tiger.” An NYPD spokesman says they’ll take Villalobos into custody once he’s able to leave the hospital.
