A Genoa Township cop and an Ohio state trooper both went to the hospital after they crashed into each other on their motorcycles while escorting First Lady Michelle Obama to the airport after a campaign stop at Ohio Wesleyan University. The presidential motorcade can be a surprisingly dangerous job: Last month a motorcycle officer in President Barack Obama’s motorcade was killed while shutting down a freeway in Florida. Fortunately both the officers hurt on Monday had only minor injuries.
