Both the Romney and Obama camps have been working to lower our debate expectations, and according to New York’s Frank Rich, they may be more right than they know. On Monday night, Rich talked with Joy Behar on her Current TV show and said he fears that we might be in for an “anti-climax” on Wednesday night. “Both are capable of being boring on their own,” says Rich. “Together might be mega-boredom.” Still, there could be some surprises thanks to the debate’s looser format, which will allow the candidates to question each other. “Romney’s most likely to do it because he’s in the biggest fix right now,” Rich explains. “He’s got to do something to move the needle.”
