There’s not exactly a witch-doctor certification program (that we know of) to accredit practitioners of spells and curses, so a court had to determine if a potential expert witness in a curse-related murder case really knew his way around a hex. The judge decided the witness, an imam from Senegal, was “not even borderline close” to being an expert on curses, which is bad for the defendant but probably fine with the imam, who insisted, “my job is to help people … I don’t do evil things.”
